About Our Company

The capabilities to meet your specs. The technologies to meet your budget.

From metal stamping to automated assembly, we invest in new technologies to hold down your costs.

When even a small metal stamping or assembly fails, it can shut down plants and rack up penalties around the world. When you’re holding just eight hours of inventory, it gives new meaning to “just-in-time.” When you’re under pressure to cut cost while improving quality, it can drive you up the wall.

esi 30th anniversary

At ESI, we understand the worlds where our customers work. For more than three decades, we’ve built our company on delivering a new level of engineering solutions and manufacturing services, including the latest automated systems. In fact, a major part of our experience comes from serving automotive clients with safety-critical parts—one of the most quality, time and efficiency-driven industries in the world.

We’ve designed an automated assembly machine that simultaneously inspects every part for 10 criteria, using advanced vision technology. Built for a unique seat-belt application, this system is just one of the technologies we’ve created to meet precise specifications. Fully automated, it eliminates labor costs. Inspecting every single part, backed by Six Sigma Black Belt Trained QA personnel, ESI takes quality assurance to new heights.

We’re also proud to participate in our local community jobs programs. For more information, watch the video below.

Think beyond metal stamping, mechanical fasteners, or assembly. Because that’s what we do.

ESI specializes in highly engineered products, with a strong emphasis on safety-critical parts.

This perspective, with more than two decades of diverse experience, makes us highly qualified for automotive, aerospace, medical, energy, and other fail-safe applications. You can turn to ESI for expertise in metal stamping, custom fasteners and automated assembly — but also expect much more:

progressive die stamping  We think beyond the task. We look at how a part will be used, from the next step of the production process to the finished product at work.

✓  We invest in new automated technologies that reduce labor and increase quality assurance. In fact, we design and build them for a customer’s specific applications.

✓  We depend on our Six Sigma Black Belt Trained QA personnel, but we go beyond conventional inspection. ESI creates advanced technologies that can inspect 100% of the parts we manufacture and assemble. That’s one reason why our PPM reject rate is virtually zero.

✓  We take a toolmaker’s approach to design and manufacturing. For example, we know that fixturing a machined product in production—not just holding it in a vise—can make a crucial difference in its quality.

✓  We will manufacture a few thousand parts — or millions. We’re equipped and eager to work on projects of all sizes. Download our eBook for more information about our high volume stamping capabilities.

ESI shares your sense of urgency. Some of our customers work with 8 hours of inventory. We have served them successfully for years. That record requires both careful planning and responsiveness. We’re also willing to go the extra mile when you call at the 11th hour with a top-priority need.

On-Time Delivery Is What Matters Most

Here’s how we deliver on it.

ESI 008Ask to see our monthly report cards from customers — they’re the best proof of ESI’s ability to fulfill our commitments. Here, on-time delivery begins with planning: understanding your requirements, from the specs to the deadline.

We use sophisticated software, such as Materials Requirement Planning programming, to create your action plan. Of course, you can’t achieve outstanding delivery results without ship-to-stock quality assurance on millions of parts per month. As you read about each of our service areas — stampingassembly, tool & die, fasteners, and production machining — you’ll see the many ways we ensure consistent precision, part after part.

Then, by bar coding all finished products, we keep our delivery process just as precise. We also make sure our international suppliers and our logistics network adhere to The ESI Standard.

If you’ve been disappointed by your suppliers’ delivery record—or you’re suddenly confronted by a red-alert deadline, contact us now.
